Welcome to The Pound and to our new website.
We’re just getting started here, planting a few seeds in the ground, waiting to see what will pop out. Over the coming months new artists and records will appear so visit us when you can.
If you want to know where our artists are playing live and in the flesh see the shows page, and feel free to join the mailing list if you want information on secret shows or events before everyone else gets an ear on them.
Heavy thanks to Greg Blakey for his eye behind the camera, Jessica Tremp for her photography, Stuart Geddes at Chase and Galley for design, Fiona Scott Norman for the glue, Anthony Kolber and Jess Allison at That Mob for getting the website to lift its heavy head and David Valkenet for the only photos that exist of the Smallest Band in the World.
See you shortly, The Pound.
